Christine Ancalmo: Quicktime Killer Extraordinaire!

Using animation, found footage, video collage and soundtracks that are her own and sampled, Christine creates videos that are colorful and jarring. She has collaborated with musicians and artists to provide live video content for exhibitions and performances.

In collaboration with Mauricio Ancalmo, the duo had a video residency under the moniker “DUBBO STUDIOS” with The Treasure Island Music Festival in San Francisco that spanned the 10 year duration of the festival. They created content in the vein of a social intervention displayed on the "jumbo-tron" on the festival main stage.
